It delivers state-aligned curriculum and virtual classroom experiences with certified teachers, personalized learning, and support for families serving as learning coaches. The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Manage instructional programs and provide instructional guidance, virtual teaching, and general strategies for a caseload of students with special needs • Develop, write, and help implement IEPs and 504 plans • Evaluate tests and assessments, complete report cards, and conduct parent conferences • Communicate with parents and learning coaches to ensure IEP goals are met and student needs are addressed • Consult with teachers and coordinate specially designed instruction for students with specific needs and potential learning issues • Provide direct student services, including through web-conferencing software • Schedule, organize, and conduct IEP-related meetings virtually • Participate in the school’s Student Support Team • Help teachers and learning coaches develop and implement program modifications and strategies • Assist with IEP paperwork, documentation, and procedures • Help locate service providers and assist with negotiating and executing service-provider contracts • Maintain accurate data in the Learning Management System and special education software • Assist with state testing and coordinate IEP-required special adaptations • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Special Education or related Education Field • Valid Special Education credential in Virginia • Experience in policy (IDEA) and/or administration with Special Education • Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Highly organized and punctual • Customer-focused approach • High degree of flexibility • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Team player track record • Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, potentially including overnight travel • Ability to work remotely, if necessary • Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication
