It delivers state-aligned curriculum and virtual classroom experiences with certified teachers, personalized learning, and support for families serving as learning coaches. The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual speech therapy to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual public schools • Connect with students using webcams and web conferencing software • Use the company’s online Education Management System to manage the caseload • Provide speech-language services and support program implementation • Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment • Follow assigned school and state-specific policies and procedures for LiveSpeech services • Maintain working relationships with the LiveSpeech team, schools, and programs • Review reports to maintain compliance • Communicate with leadership and school staff • Document therapeutic interventions and progress reports • Meet biweekly with the supervisor • Conduct screenings and formal and informal evaluations of students’ communication needs • Communicate with parents, learning coaches, and special education staff regarding IEP goals and student needs • Consult with teachers and coordinate specially designed instruction defined in IEPs • Provide special education case management for select students whose only need is speech therapy • Schedule, organize, and conduct virtual IEP-related meetings as needed • Assist with paperwork, documentation, and procedures for the IEP process • Maintain accurate data in the Education Management System and special education software • Adhere to data protection and security laws and company policies • Obtain and maintain required licenses and clearances • Complete required professional development, training, and CEU courses • Complete additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence • Active/valid state and/or Department of Education licensure in Speech Pathology in the state of residence • Ability to obtain and maintain multiple required state certifications and clearances • 2+ years of experience in a K-12 school setting • Strong technology skills • High degree of flexibility and ability to work independently • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to use a personal electronic device and email address for two-step authentication
