📋 Description

• Handle a growing portfolio of predominantly primary first-party cyber claims from first notice to resolution • Complete structured onboarding and progress from supervised to independent file handling • Analyze coverage issues and draft coverage letters and other correspondence • Build working fluency in primary and excess insurance claim environments • Partner with customers and brokers to achieve claim outcomes • Coordinate with external counsel and specialized vendors, including forensic and incident response firms • Work with Operations to ensure efficient claim administration and accurate data • Analyze claims portfolio results and identify and explain claim trends • Provide claims input on policy wordings and tailored client solutions • Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, and Risk Management colleagues • Represent Converge at industry conferences, client events, and professional society functions as experience grows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 1–5 years of similar or related work experience • High degree of responsiveness and genuine commitment to customer service • Composure and sound judgment in a crisis • Excellent writing skills for coverage letters and customer correspondence • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills • Willingness to obtain required adjuster licenses, with employer support • Ability to learn quickly, seek feedback, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment • Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting • Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills • University degree or equivalent • Legal background (J.D. or paralegal experience) or technical familiarity is a plus • Prior claims handling experience and familiarity with insurance are a plus • Strong task and project management skills and goal-oriented mindset are a plus • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
