📋 Description

• Own Corel's topline planning, forecasting and explanation • Run the weekly billings forecast • Build the annual operating plan by product • Convert product and sales data into recommendations for executives, the Board and private-equity sponsor • Prepare topline and KPI sections for monthly operating reviews and quarterly Board materials • Build and maintain product-level KPI scorecards • Lead variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year • Respond to CFO, Board and sponsor requests • Lead FP&A planning-system work in Planful, including requirements, data validation, revenue/allocation models and user training • Integrate Snowflake and NetSuite data into planning and reporting with reconciled feeds • Replace manual spreadsheets with automated reporting • Document models, planning calendars and controls • Partner with Sales, Marketing and product leaders on reviews and assumptions • Support investment cases with ROI and payback analysis • Partner with Accounting on close timing, ASC 606 revenue recognition and accrual accuracy • Build backup coverage for critical models and processes • Optionally lead up to two analysts as the function grows • Support audits, financing, cost programs and M&A projects

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in FP&A, sales finance or corporate finance • Experience managing or mentoring analysts • Experience in software, SaaS or subscription businesses • Direct ownership of billings or revenue forecasting and topline KPIs • Hands-on daily experience using Claude or similar AI assistants • 2–3 examples of AI-assisted workflows that saved time or improved quality • Ability to validate AI outputs against source data and recognize when not to use AI • Expert financial modelling in Excel • Strong understanding of billings versus revenue, deferred revenue and ASC 606 • Clear written and spoken communication, including executive and Board presentations • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field • Preferred: NetSuite, Snowflake and SQL, advanced Claude, Python or similar scripting, AI adoption/training, planning tools, Tableau or Power BI, private-equity-backed companies, multi-product/multi-currency/multi-channel businesses, CPA, CFA or MBA
