• Drive solution definitions that translate business ideas and product concepts into application software solutions • Gather needs and translate them into testable requirements at team, program, and enterprise levels • Focus on Pharmacy claim processing and auditing • Develop innovative solutions to improve billing accuracy and provide real-time recommendations to pharmacists and patients • Quickly understand needs and develop specifications for new products • Support product integration efforts across multiple products • Conduct interviews and requirements workshops with cross-disciplinary teams • Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to meet program objectives and vision • Create and maintain Features and User Stories with Product, Business, and development teams • Refine and prepare the program backlog • Prioritize and maintain the team backlog • Accept specifications or user stories completed at the end of each iteration/sprint • Mentor other onshore or offshore Technical Product Owners • Collaborate across teams and value streams • Lead discussions and plan roadmaps for large projects with the Architecture team • Complete annual performance-plan responsibilities and assigned special projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field with significant Pharmacy experience (Medical Bill Review; Group Health or P&C Medical) • 10 years of business experience • 7+ years’ experience in various aspects of Pharmacy operations, including store operations and/or corporate operations • Experience with systems modeling, user interface design and prototyping, decision trees, or data flow tools • Expert use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, and similar analysis, documentation, and presentation tools • Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills • Strong written skills and ability to convey functional details accurately and precisely • Proven problem-solving, logical, and analytical skills • Ability to learn the healthcare domain quickly • Ability to mentor onshore or offshore Technical Product Owners • Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation • Ability to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and maintain an office setup • Ability to provide a dedicated, secure work area • Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality • Ability to work independently, multitask, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under stress
