📋 Description

• Deliver solutions that improve healthcare outcomes, reduce healthcare process costs, and/or identify payment integrity issues • Assess the potential value and risks of business problems solvable with machine learning and artificial intelligence • Develop exploratory data analysis approaches to verify hypotheses for AI/ML use cases • Document approaches, thinking, and results using standard methods for collaboration • Prepare final trained models and develop validation test sets for QA • Deploy models into production with production operations and support performance monitoring • Collaborate with other data science teams and support peer projects • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions • Participate in design sessions to improve the Cotiviti machine learning platform • Provide end-to-end value-based solutions, including data pipelines, model creation, and end-user applications • Complete annual performance review/goal-setting responsibilities and assigned special projects

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, or Operations Research, covering Advanced Statistics, Machine learning and AI • Experience with natural language processing techniques including transformers, fine-tuning LLMs, measuring/benchmarking and deploying LLMs • Experience with HuggingFace, Langchain, Llama/Mistral, OpenAI, and vector databases • 7+ years of hands-on data science/AI experience • Experience with pandas, scikit-learn, keras, nltk, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and GPUs • Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience working with Apache Spark™ and large-scale distributed datasets • Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical and technical audiences is a plus • Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team • Ability to properly handle confidential information • Value-driven approach focused on business impact • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines • Ability to work within a matrixed organization • Proficiency in required skills and competencies • Flexibility to work with global teams and geographically dispersed US-based teams • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
