📋 Description

• Provide architectural guidance across engineering teams • Design and deliver AI-augmented capabilities that improve auditor effectiveness, operational efficiency, and payment integrity and fraud, waste, and abuse decisions • Produce a current-state architecture map within the first month • Develop a prioritized AI integration roadmap within the first two months • Create a full architectural plan for the application and AI platform within the first three months • Lead, build, and ship an initial modular, extensible AI-augmented MVP within the first four months • Collaborate with product owners, executive leadership, customers, engineering, data science, compliance, security, sales, and operations • Define and maintain architectural standards, including API contracts, integration patterns, data flow, and security boundaries • Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams • Define reusable internal software assets, shared libraries, APIs, and data contracts • Define AI data governance policies with compliance and security • Evaluate engineering and AI tooling and vendors, including AWS, Azure, and alternatives • Build evaluation and bias-testing methodologies • Recommend ways sales and operations can use AI to augment their processes • Establish standards and coach engineers; review designs and provide architecture recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years architecting SaaS products with cloud-native technologies • Extensive experience in cloud-native design on AWS and/or Azure • Proven track record of integrating and building AI into platforms and applications, beyond simple API usage • Hands-on familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP); implementation experience ideally • Hands-on experience with packaged agent runtimes such as Bedrock AgentCore or Azure AI Foundry • Experience designing logically multi-tenant SaaS platforms • Strong software fundamentals and ongoing learning of emerging AI patterns and protocols • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at the appropriate technical level • Sound judgment regarding extensibility, security, and sane deployment • Ability to move quickly, make decisive choices, and unite engineers • Experience with systems and storage architecture across multiple integrated platforms (nice to have) • Experience in healthcare or other regulated, high-compliance environments (nice to have) • Experience standing up a platform quickly for internal development teams (nice to have) • Authorization to work in the United States • No visa sponsorship available
