📋 Description

• Identify new major and transformational giving prospects across revenue streams using traditional research, AI-powered prospecting tools, and data enrichment platforms • Prepare, analyze, and maintain research profiles and reports throughout the relationship management cycle • Support, attend, and facilitate prospect review and donor cultivation strategy meetings • Use Every Action, Donor Drive, iWave, Wealth Engine, emerging AI, and analytics tools to conduct prospect research • Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities that inform relationship management decisions • Manage research updates and deliverables in project management systems and CRM • Ensure data integrity and consistency • Use automation tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve research and reporting efficiency • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve research processes and outcomes • Support relationship mapping strategies to identify prospective high-net-worth prospects • Project manage relationship-mapping processes, draft outreach, and track outcomes • Lead research for supporters who qualify for portfolio assignments to support timely stewardship • Organize and manage research files in SharePoint • Report to the Manager, Supporter Engagement

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years' experience in development and prospect research • Proficient in iWave, Wealth Engine and/or other research platforms • Demonstrated ability or willingness to learn AI-enabled research and analytics tools • Knowledge of prospect research principles and best practices • Experience using generative AI, data enrichment tools, and automation platforms • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills • Ability to synthesize information clearly • Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple deadlines • Curiosity and adaptability, with willingness to adopt new technologies and innovative approaches • Ability to work on multiple projects for several individuals simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output • Prior experience with Every Action, Asana, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred • Bachelor's degree preferred • Ability to travel once per year to New York City in October • Occasional travel to New York City for all-staff events
