📋 Description

• Lead and direct the financial activities of assigned regional Manheim Auctions • Serve as finance business partner and trusted advisor to Auction Leadership • Act as liaison between auction locations, center finance, and centralized Accounting teams • Manage overall financial operations of assigned locations • Lead the assigned auction Finance team and provide communication and feedback • Develop the team and support employee engagement • Prepare and review consolidated monthly and annual financial results for leadership presentations • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Credit & Collections, Operations, and administrative functions • Identify and influence operational efficiencies, operating model opportunities, and cost structure improvements • Analyze trends and variances to plans and improve operating results • Prepare, review, and present monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans • Create driver-based models to support Auctions • Build or oversee business cases for new investment ideas • Maintain effective relationships with operating and corporate stakeholders • Partner across Cox Automotive to ensure appropriate Finance service levels • Stay current on finance best practices and related technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with 8+ years of business experience, focused on financial planning, financial analysis, and business case modeling • Alternatively, Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience, or no degree with 12+ years of experience • 3+ years of experience in a management or lead role • MBA and/or CPA preferred • Strong knowledge of financial concepts, practices, and procedures, including IRR, NPV, DCF, and payback • Advanced MS Excel skills, including logical and reference formulas, financial functions, pivot tables, financial model structure/design, assumption toggling, charting/graphing, and executive presentation formatting • Experience with Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Reporting/Essbase is a strong plus • Ability to work across functional groups in a matrixed organization • Ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and insights • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to balance multiple changing priorities and work under tight deadlines • Experience organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating one’s own work • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills preferred, emphasizing professional presentation design and formatting • Up to 50% travel • Must clear a pre-employment drug test • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future
