• Develop and maintain complex Excel-based financial models for programs, service line expansions, capital investments, and strategic initiatives • Build pro formas with NPV, IRR, and ROI analyses using volume, payer mix, reimbursement, and cost structure drivers • Perform scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to quantify risk • Evaluate the feasibility and financial viability of business opportunities • Source and integrate Epic and other enterprise-system data for financial analyses • Partner with Data & Analytics and IT teams to define data requirements, develop queries, and combine datasets • Ensure data integrity and consistency across analyses • Translate complex datasets into actionable financial insights and executive-ready deliverables • Streamline financial workflows and improve reporting efficiency • Develop processes, tools, and best practices for financial modeling and analytics • Participate in implementation and optimization of decision support tools, reporting frameworks, and data governance processes • Develop Tableau and Power BI reports and dashboards • Train and advise finance peers and business partners on analytical tools and financial modeling techniques • Serve as a strategic finance consultant to operational and executive leaders across the Presbyterian Healthcare Services enterprise
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, accounting, finance, or another quantitative/related field • 5–10 years of healthcare industry experience, specifically healthcare delivery finance, cost accounting, or medical economics • Expert knowledge of healthcare delivery operations • Direct analytics experience with make-versus-buy analysis, cost to deliver care, population health programs, reimbursement methodologies, payor contracting, incentive strategies, and value-based reimbursement • Experience working within an integrated healthcare system preferred • Strong analytical skills and capabilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Expert knowledge of healthcare information standards, including ICD-9/10, CPT codes, HCPCS codes, MS-DRG, ETGs, RBRVS, and cost accounting methodologies • Experience working with healthcare data, including Epic Revenue Cycle, Professional Billing, Hospital Billing, Clarity/Caboodle, or similar systems • Ability to compile, integrate, and analyze large datasets from multiple systems • Strong understanding of relationships between volume, reimbursement, cost, and margin • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and analytical tools such as SAS, Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, and Strata • Prior Business Objects and relational database experience • Experience preparing PowerPoint presentations and visualizing complex information in a simplified manner
