📋 Description

• Shape the strategic direction for advanced analytics across the organization • Deliver critical insights, actionable recommendations, and production-ready systems impacting key business outcomes • Lead development of highly complex, scalable, reliable, and maintainable analytical solutions • Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to data science teams and senior leadership • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists and technical leads • Establish and champion best practices, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing • Identify and integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies • Shape analytics strategy and align data science initiatives with business objectives • Analyze and resolve highly complex data science issues and develop novel approaches • Select and apply advanced methods and techniques using independent judgment • Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, and stakeholders on product strategy • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions • Identify and mitigate major technical risks and ambiguities across projects and systems

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in data science, machine learning or optimization models • Substantial record of leading high-impact, company-wide or industry-shaping technical initiatives • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or a related field, or equivalent extensive practical experience • Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Python and R • Proficiency with relevant libraries, such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Spark • Extensive experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka • Extensive experience with cloud-based analytics platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP • Extensive knowledge of data modeling techniques, including deep learning, Bayesian networks, and causal inference • Extensive knowledge of statistical methods, including Bayesian analysis, causal inference, and time series analysis • Ability to create compelling data visualizations for executive audiences • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences • Recognized expertise in advanced analytics practices and ability to mentor and guide data scientists • PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, or related field is preferred
