📋 Description

• Learn about the publishing industry and career opportunities in production editorial and managing editorial • Assist with in-house editorial, pre-press, and manufacturing processes that turn manuscripts into bound books • Copyedit and proofread TI sheets, reader guides, cover copy, and marketing materials • Learn how to check changes • Assist with freelancer communication • Attend book scheduling meetings • Participate in panels, networking events, and employee speaker series

🎯 Requirements

• Must be ready to work full-time on or before June 2028 • Able to work 28 hours/week throughout the program • Available and committed to working June 7, 2027–August 12, 2027 • Must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship program • Must be over the age of 18 • Submit a resume and cover letter • Indicate interest in production editorial or managing editorial and preferred book types or genres • No college enrollment or degree required
