📋 Description

• Own the full P&L for student lending, set revenue and profitability targets, forecast growth, allocate resources, and report results to the Executive Leadership Team • Drive borrower acquisition and growth across SEO, partnerships, and paid media channels • Cultivate, negotiate, and scale lender and marketing partnerships • Partner with Product and Engineering to improve borrower conversion, partner integrations, and marketplace performance • Lead cross-functional growth initiatives, distribution opportunities, and campaigns • Monitor performance metrics and unit economics to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and guide data-driven decisions • Lead the Student Lending team and align it with company-wide OKRs • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations on efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates to the CRO and/or Executive Leadership Team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field required • MBA or advanced degree is a plus • 10+ years in fintech, marketplace, or consumer lending roles with proven success in scaling acquisition • Demonstrated experience owning a business unit P&L, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation • Track record in scaling growth strategies and paid media • Deep experience structuring and growing distribution partnerships • Strong leadership experience in high-growth environments • Success leading cross-functional teams and influencing product roadmaps • Excellent communication skills; comfortable negotiating externally and presenting to ELT • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel/Google Sheets • Ability to evaluate unit economics, budget, and complete ad hoc industry analysis • Skilled in leveraging data, BI tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI), and analytics to optimize performance • Ability to balance immediate execution with long-term strategy in dynamic, fast-paced environments
