📋 Description

• Service customers at all stages of the policy lifecycle, including endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and underwriting requirements • Identify and remarket policies to support retention and meet company goals • Communicate complex carrier information clearly and empathetically • Present actionable options when underwriting issues arise to help preserve coverage • Collaborate with cross-functional departments and identify and report product bugs • Work with sales agents, carriers, loan officers, and third parties to resolve policy updates • Manage refinance-related policy updates and documentation accurately and urgently • Monitor daily cancellations and non-renewals and troubleshoot servicing challenges across 35+ carrier systems • Maintain data accuracy across internal systems and carrier platforms • Contribute to process improvements as products and operations scale • Record interactions from calls, chats, emails, and internal messages according to company formatting protocol • Translate complex policy and underwriting language into plain English • Identify verification needs before endorsing policies and escalate matters to licensed agents when appropriate • Keep current with carrier guidelines, industry trends, and product updates

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of insurance experience, ideally in home and auto insurance • Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • Experience using GSuite preferred • Computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems and platforms simultaneously • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight after onboarding • Ability to make sound decisions autonomously and exercise judgment about escalation to licensed agents • Ability to communicate complex policy and underwriting information in clear, plain English • Ability to manage time-sensitive policy changes accurately • Ability to troubleshoot servicing challenges across 35+ carrier systems • Ability to stay current with carrier guidelines, industry trends, and product updates
