📋 Description

• Lead a small to medium-sized team focused on delivering data-driven insights and reporting solutions. • Your team will be responsible for building data literacy and advocating for data needs upstream and early in the process. • Focus on enabling Self Service via semantic layers. • Ensure data driven decision making and actionable insights through enterprise dashboards/reports. • Collaborate with PMO, Product, Stakeholders, and Engineering to align data initiatives with business goals. • Drive the adoption of AI and advanced analytics. • Maintain a prioritized backlog of tasks and ensure clarity and cleanliness of data pipelines. • Partner with infrastructure and data engineering teams to ensure optimal performance of BI tools. • Demonstrate deep understanding of data sources, business processes, and reporting requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field; or equivalent experience. • 5 - 8 years leading BI or analytics teams. • Strong communication skills, both oral and written. • Proven experience using BI solutions to improve business outcomes. • Experience managing requirements gathering, prototyping, user acceptance testing, and deployment of BI projects. • Basic understanding of data warehousing and web technologies. • Preferred: Experience with BI lifecycle and governance frameworks. • Proficient in Power BI with expertise in developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that drive business decisions. • Proficient in Databricks for data engineering, analytics, and scalable data processing. • Project management experience: PMP certification is a plus. • Experience writing SQL queries and analyzing data patterns. • Familiarity with cloud-based BI platforms and data services. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate complex data concepts clearly. • Demonstrated ability to lead with insight and make strategic recommendations. • Self-driven, customer-focused, and able to work independently with moderate supervision. • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with abstract concepts.
