📋 Description

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live Computer Science lessons tailored to individual student needs • Teach programming, algorithms, data structures, computational thinking and problem-solving • Use teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive online learning environment • Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback and adapt teaching approaches • Plan and communicate course schedules, lesson content and assessment timelines • Set homework and design and administer assessments • Develop educational materials and contribute to CGA’s learning resources • Maintain a professional and well-organized online classroom • Support students from around the world in developing computer science knowledge, computational thinking, problem-solving and programming skills

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience in a school setting; tutoring experience cannot be counted • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education or a related field • Strong knowledge of computer science concepts and programming • Exceptional communication skills for interaction with students, parents and the CGA team • Familiarity with online teaching platforms • Passion for innovative, technology-enabled education • Preferred: Previous experience teaching Computer Science at secondary/high school level • Preferred: Experience teaching an international curriculum • Preferred: Strong programming knowledge and experience teaching languages such as Python, Java or similar • Preferred: A recognized teaching qualification, such as a postgraduate certificate in education, teaching degree or teaching license • Preferred: Previous online teaching experience
