📋 Description

• Meet regularly one on one with students on your caseload to plan their academic path, activities and university goals • Teach the Future Ready curriculum through online lessons • Help students choose courses that shape a strong high school record and support university plans • Guide students in choosing clubs and activities matching their interests and goals • Help students research universities and build balanced college lists • Support students through the full application process for universities worldwide, including Common App, University of California application and UCAS • Track application deadlines and requirements and keep students on schedule • Write counselor recommendation letters and submit school documents • Communicate with families about student progress, plans and deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) • At least 5 years of experience supporting students with college counseling and advising • At least 3 years of experience with the UK curriculum and A Levels, including how A Level choices and results support students' university goals • Strong organization and ability to manage deadlines for a caseload of about 200 students • Comfortable working remotely and communicating clearly with students, families and colleagues across time zones • Experience with NCAA advising for student athletes, including eligibility and college placement (preferred) • Knowledge of the University of California (UC) application, requirements and deadlines (preferred) • Experience supporting UCAS applications to UK universities (preferred) • Some early morning or evening availability required
