📋 Description

• Design inside-plant telecommunications pathways, spaces, racks, and fiber-optic and copper structured cabling systems. • Develop layouts for telecommunications rooms, MDFs, IDFs, and meet-me rooms. • Independently prepare and coordinate drawings, specifications, and construction documents using Revit. • Coordinate designs with electrical, mechanical, architectural, and facility teams. • Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFIs, and resolve construction-phase design issues. • Support occasional site observations during construction. • Contribute to the development of CFG's telecommunications design standards, details, and best practices. • Independently manage telecommunications design packages from initial layouts through construction documentation and support. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and access experienced technical guidance for complex challenges and design reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated inside-plant telecommunications design experience in data centers or similarly complex technical facilities. • Typically 5+ years of telecommunications design experience. • Proficiency in Revit. • Ability to independently develop, coordinate, and deliver complete telecommunications design packages. • Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards, telecommunications spaces, and pathway design. • Effective communication, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary coordination skills. • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. • CFG is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas. • This role is open to candidates residing in states where CFG is registered to employ.
