β’ The HSE Safety Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and continuously improving health, safety, and environmental training programs that build workforce competency and reinforce a culture of safety excellence. β’ Partner with Operations, HSE leadership, project teams, and subject matter experts to ensure employees possess the knowledge and skills necessary to safely perform their work while meeting regulatory, client, and company requirements. β’ Design engaging training curriculum, facilitate classroom and field instruction, evaluate training effectiveness, maintain qualification records, and support the implementation of company safety initiatives across all service operations. β’ Develop, implement, and maintain company HSE training programs that align with corporate policies, client requirements, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices. β’ Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding programs. β’ Deliver required regulatory and company-specific training, including: OSHA Fundamentals, Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety (NFPA 70E), Powered Industrial Trucks, Respiratory Protection, PPE, Heat Illness Prevention, Energy-Based Safety Principles. β’ Evaluate employee understanding through written exams, practical demonstrations, and field observations. β’ Maintain training records, certifications, qualification matrices, and competency documentation.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Education, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred) β’ Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered β’ OSHA 30-Hour Construction or General Industry β’ NFPA70e β’ First Aid/CPR Certification β’ Minimum five (5) years of progressive HSE experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, energy, or related industries. β’ Minimum three (3) years delivering instructor-led technical safety training. β’ Experience developing curriculum, lesson plans, and competency assessments. β’ Experience facilitating classroom, virtual, and field-based instruction. β’ Experience supporting high-risk work environments. β’ Experience in Electrical Safety, Switching, Commissioning, LOTO Management, & Risk Assessments. β’ Experience with hands on electrical work, understanding the process and the risks involved. β’ Preferred Qualifications β’ OSHA Authorized Trainer (Construction and/or General Industry) β’ Certified Safety Professional (CSP) β’ Associate Safety Professional (ASP) β’ Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) β’ Occupational Health & Safety Technician (OHST) β’ Certified Instructional Trainer or equivalent adult-learning credential.
