• Review and analyze appraisal reports to confirm appraised value aligns with appropriate appraisal methodology • Confirm reconciliation of multiple appraisal approaches is completed appropriately • Collaborate with BPL Appraisal Review team members when additional appraisal expertise or review is needed • Run analyses regarding comparable selection and internal valuations • Confirm vendor and appraisal-report compliance with Valere’s policies, USPAP standards, applicable laws, and regulations • Identify collateral issues and collaborate with leadership to obtain revised appraisal reports promptly • Communicate file status with customers and internal partners • Provide professional customer service and clear communication • Adapt to changing information, shifting conditions, and unexpected obstacles • Maintain appraisal review processes and standard operating procedures • Provide process enhancement recommendations • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field • 3+ years of experience regarding appraisal review, appraisal processing, and quality control • Experience meeting deadlines and planning and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously • Extensive knowledge of related appraisal and industry guidelines • Knowledge of appraisal techniques involving different property types, preferred (e.g., multi-unit properties) • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues • Clear, respectful communication skills • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills • Proficient computer skills, including Internet and Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
