📋 Description

• Review appraisals of 1–4 family residential properties nationwide for quality, report content, collateral risk factors, and compliance with FIRREA, USPAP, and Interagency guidelines • Conduct thorough logical reviews of appraisals, review products, and additional data to assess quality, value support, and regulatory compliance • Research public records and other data sources to verify valuation-product data and opinions • Prepare detailed written review documentation using internal review forms • Communicate discrepancies to appraisal vendors and request corrections or additional information • Interact with appraisal vendors, internal origination, processing, and underwriting staff, and other clients to facilitate valuation-product processing and review • Assist with other duties and projects assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • BA/BS preferred • Certified Residential Appraiser license level; FHA approval preferred • Minimum of 3 years of combined field and desk appraisal experience or equivalent • Current Residential Certified license in good standing required • National or regional review experience preferred • Knowledge of appraisal practice and forms used in completing appraisals • Working knowledge of FIRREA, USPAP, and the Interagency Guidelines • Strong analytical capabilities • Verbal and written communication skills • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, and internal valuation tools/applications • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment • Predictable work attendance and ability to perform the stated physical demands, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 10 pounds
