📋 Description

• Provide advanced support, analysis, and optimization of clinic practice management and clearinghouse systems • Act as subject matter expert for Waystar, CareLogic, and Medgen • Ensure scheduling, registration, coding, and billing-related workflows run efficiently • Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to improve patient access and streamline operations • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations • Manage PM Analysts • Work with the VP, Director, and Business Analysts • Maintain payer list and billable service mapping • Independently work assigned projects and track progress to meet deadlines • Assist with legacy system preparation and cleanup • Troubleshoot RCM-related tickets • Maintain confidentiality of patients’ personal and financial information • Provide direction for implementation, software setup, and maintenance • Manage stakeholder questions related to RCM onboarding, process changes, and operations • Evaluate processes, make improvements, and update process changes • Attend, participate in, and facilitate meetings • Document changes, workflows, and processes • Implement and maintain EMR, clearinghouse, and RCM services workflows • Support the RCM department as the EMR billing and collections subject matter expert • Adhere to HIPAA laws • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• EMR system configuration required • Leadership skills and experience managing in current role • Experience creating PowerPoint decks for leadership presentations • Medical billing experience • Experience with Waystar clearinghouse and EDI files • Experience with web-based billing software and electronic health systems • 2 years’ experience with medical billing, preferably in substance abuse and/or primary care • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Above-average aptitude with internet/computer use • Prior CareLogic experience ideal • Must adhere to HIPAA laws
