📋 Description

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and clinical assessments through telehealth • Identify client needs, diagnoses, appropriate level of care, and individualized treatment recommendations • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans • Provide treatment for mental health, substance use, trauma-related, and co-occurring concerns • Facilitate structured virtual IOP groups, including psychoeducation, process groups, relapse prevention, coping skills, emotional regulation, and recovery-focused programming • Monitor client progress and make appropriate treatment and level-of-care recommendations • Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical consultation • Contribute to development and refinement of clinical workflows, processes, programming, group content, documentation standards, policies, procedures, and quality-improvement initiatives • Provide clinical consultation and peer support; mentor and support clinicians • Assist with clinician onboarding and training • Support quality assurance and clinical chart review • Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required clinical documentation • Maintain accurate clinical records in the EHR • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, ethical standards, organizational policies, telehealth requirements, and Hawai‘i laws and regulations • Complete risk assessments and respond appropriately to client safety concerns • Coordinate care with outside providers, referral partners, family members, and community resources • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and multidisciplinary treatment team

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution • Current Hawai‘i behavioral health license or associate-level credential, as applicable to the candidate's profession and scope of practice • Must reside in Hawai‘i or otherwise meet applicable Hawai‘i requirements to provide telehealth services to clients in Hawai‘i • Experience providing psychotherapy in an outpatient, IOP, substance use disorder, co-occurring, or telehealth setting preferred • Knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria, biopsychosocial assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation • Experience working with mental health, substance use, trauma-related, and co-occurring concerns • Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), relapse prevention, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches • Experience providing individual and group therapy virtually • Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Ability to independently manage a clinical caseload and virtual schedule • Ability to collaborate effectively with a remote multidisciplinary team • Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards in a virtual environment • Reliable high-speed internet and a private, confidential workspace appropriate for telehealth services • Prior clinical supervision, leadership, program development, or team-lead experience preferred
