Allswell is an online, LGBTQ+ affirming mental health provider (Allswell Health PBC) that delivers trauma-informed individual therapy and peer group programs via video. It pairs licensed, rigorously trained therapists who are members of or experienced with the LGBTQ+ community with evidence-based approaches (eg, CBT, CPT, EMDR) and skills-building groups to treat identity-based trauma and related conditions. Allswell accepts Medicaid and many commercial insurance plans (and offers cash-pay options), uses HIPAA-compliant records, and currently serves Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia while expanding to more states.

📋 Description

• Provide individual telehealth therapy to LGBTQ+ clients • Deliver affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment tailored to the community's needs • Conduct clinical assessments • Maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the Avon EMR • Use evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and CPT • Use proprietary tools including the Trauma Journal and Written Exposure Therapy protocol between sessions • Participate in regular and required clinical supervision • Work toward full independent licensure • Maintain at least 10 client-facing sessions per week • Report to the Clinical Director • Focus on care while Allswell handles billing, scheduling, and client outreach

🎯 Requirements

• Active DC license as an LGSW, LGPC, or MFT • Experience and strong passion for working with LGBTQ+ clients • Cultural competence delivering affirming, identity-centered care • Comfort providing individual / 1-1 therapy in a telehealth setting • Skilled in clinical assessment and timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation • Minimum commitment of 10 sessions per week • Flexible scheduling Monday to Sunday • Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT • Comfort with outcomes-based, measurement-informed care • Additional licensure in Maryland, Virginia, or North Carolina is a bonus
