CSLOT - Center for Speech, Language, Occupational Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis is a multidisciplinary clinical center providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for communication, movement, sensory, and behavior disorders to infants, children, adolescents, and adults. Founded in 1980 and based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CSLOT offers speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), reading therapy, social communication groups, early intervention programs, and telehealth services. The center serves clients directly and focuses on individualized, evidence-informed care across a range of conditions including autism, aphasia, dyslexia, motor/sensory disorders, feeding/swallowing issues, and speech and language impairments.

📋 Description

• Screen and evaluate children and adults with communication disorders • Write evaluation reports • Develop treatment programs for children and adults with communication disorders • Provide teletherapy to individuals with communication disorders • Measure and document treatment-program outcomes • Write treatment reports • Interface with other members of the client’s team, especially parents/family • Communicate treatment issues with supervisory staff • Conduct staff and community education • Manage support staff within a group setting • Contact and schedule sessions directly with clients, primarily in the Pacific Time Zone between 8 AM PST and 6 PM PST • Manage and track clients’ progress-report due dates • Follow CSLOT cancellation and makeup policy • Understand CSLOT payor-source services and authorizations • Provide ongoing support to CSLOT’s marketing efforts • Perform other job-related duties as assigned • Report directly to the Regional Program Manager/Vice President of Clinical Programs

🎯 Requirements

• Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or similar field • License to practice speech pathology in the State of California • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or actively working toward this certificate • Minimum availability of 10 hours per week • Must be available to work starting at 3:00 PM PST and through at least 7:00 PM PST • Friday availability is required • Ability to provide speech-language pathology treatment and evaluations for children and adults • Ability to provide teletherapy • Ability to work independently from a HIPAA-compliant home office setting when appropriate
