📋 Description
• Handle authorizations for medical services at City of Hope Chicago, Atlanta, and Phoenix • Obtain accurate and timely payer decisions regarding authorizations for medical procedures, high-tech imaging services, surgical cases, personalized genomic medicine, technically advanced radiation therapy treatments, chemotherapy, and other procedures requiring authorization • Approve, pend, or deny services for the patient population according to policy
🎯 Requirements
• Excellent time management and organizational skills • Ability to provide clear and concise communication, both verbally and in writing • Strong knowledge of ICD-9/10 diagnosis codes • Strong knowledge of CPT codes
