📋 Description

• Complete and oversee systems analysis, design, and development for basic to complex applications • Serve as an individual contributor on complex projects • Maintain functional understanding of supported applications • Direct and monitor less experienced resources and coordinate development tasks • Prepare and manage the technical component of project plans • Participate in systems development from technical analysis through user acceptance testing • Prepare and review test data, execute test plans, and complete debugging • Evaluate interrelationships among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms • Provide analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing information technology solutions • Prepare and review technical and functional specifications and systems documentation • Prepare project assessments, including tasks, timelines, and effort estimates • Maintain efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications • Recommend technologies, policies, and processes and participate in vendor software evaluations • Promote development standards and procedures • Understand and support business functions, processes, operations, and strategic direction • Assist with expense and capital budgets as needed • Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls • Identify risk-related issues requiring escalation • Support diversity and the M&T Bank brand • Maintain internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory action items • Complete related duties, including due diligence, cost/benefit analysis, and business studies • Work under the supervision of the Technology Team Lead • Interact with senior management, technology personnel, clients, and vendors • Provide backup to higher management and serve as a technical representative on committees or ad hoc projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of an Associates degree and 5 years systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years systems analysis/application development experience • Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms • Proficiency with personal computers, project management software, word processing software, and spreadsheet software • Experience working on multiple complex projects • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to the target audience • Strong organizational and time management skills • Experience coordinating between Applications and business units • Experience recommending and implementing systems solutions • Experience driving project milestones and delivery dates • Must have iOS app development experience • SWIFT UI experience • W2 only • Must be available for an initial 3-month engagement
