📋 Description

• Review and monitor transactions delivered for underwriting, processing, negotiating, and capturing indirect auto loan and lease originations • Develop and maintain relationships with credit union and dealer partners • Review loan applications and render decisions within underwriting criteria and approval limits • Gather and review underwriting information, including credit bureaus, DTI, LTV, PTI, dealer risk, and relationships • Apply decisions in multiple loan origination systems and document decision rationale • Assist with loan rehashes based on lending and exception guidelines • Follow up on approved applications to maximize funding ratio • Collect missing items, stipulations, and documentation from members and dealers • Document and track outbound and inbound call results • Send completed loan packages to credit unions for final funding • Increase Origence Lending Services capture percentage in select markets • Monitor applications, contracts, dealer productivity, and look-to-book ratios • Contribute to turnaround-time and loan-volume goals • Participate in fraud detection, daily fraud-tool processing, and new client implementation • Recommend process improvements and test new software and releases • Support operations including processing and funding applications, compliance, call center, and special projects • Maintain service-level agreements and coverage between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm MST, seven days a week • Foster teamwork and model Origence Lending Services culture and values

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency required • Four to six years of underwriting experience in a consumer lending/underwriting environment within a financial institution • General knowledge of financial industry policies and operations • Knowledge of financial institution operations, regulatory compliance, point of purchase or indirect auto lending or leasing preferred • Previous processing/funding experience preferred • Experience in L360, Meridian Link, or Ideal preferred • Excellent internal and external customer service skills • Excellent oral/written communication and analytical skills • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative • Ability to interface with credit union and dealership management to create and further business relationships • Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines and established goals • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver fast, efficient loan turnaround decisions • Computer knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Flexible availability to work a varied schedule between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm MST, 7 days a week • Specialized problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Must be a team player
