📋 Description

• Manage projects as assigned, coordinating the project team and communicating with the client • Manage and control project scope, cost, and schedule objectives • Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of project schedule, scope, and cost • Value engineer projects by identifying savings opportunities and ensuring material substitutions are equal • Communicate with and manage project stakeholders • Prepare the Project Management Plan and fee budget/proposal at project outset • Evaluate documents and communicate client goals and expectations to project team members • Develop and communicate action plans throughout the project • Coordinate with the cost management group on cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation • Drive the permitting process and ensure permits move efficiently through local, state, and federal agencies • Ensure design management follows client budget, scope, schedule, and design standards • Prepare cost and revenue projections

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing construction of complex electrical or industrial projects • Ability to travel semi-locally a couple days per week • Experience preparing Project Management Plans and fee/budget proposals • Experience developing and driving action plans • Ability to monitor project scope and recommend adjustments • Ability to prepare and communicate cost and revenue projections • Knowledge of permitting processes and ability to drive permitting timelines • Effective written and oral communication skills • Ability to consistently communicate and collaborate with team members and clients • Ability to build relationships with peers, leaders, and clients • Ability to proactively participate in self-development • Ability to be dependable, diligent, and thorough • Creativity and resourcefulness in managing projects in compressed timeframes • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field • 5+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction management • Preferred certifications: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, or LEED
