📋 Description

• Develop program budgets and schedules for new concepts and designs of lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft. • Support proposal content creation for mission opportunities and internal development programs. • Contribute to schedules, resourcing, risks, and budget estimations. • Communicate with engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors to resolve technical risks and challenges. • Build bottom-up estimates, including bills of materials, cash flow models, and labor estimates. • Participate in customer, supply chain, and partner visits and technical interchange meetings. • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to align project schedules and budgets with mission, business, and technology roadmap needs. • Manage internal early technology development projects and paid architecture studies, including budgets, schedules, deliverables, and customer interfacing. • Shape lunar technologies and missions through mission concept budgets and schedules for NASA, government, and commercial customers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Engineering or related discipline plus 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience. Relevant advanced degree will be considered in lieu of equivalent experience. • Demonstrated experience in project or program management, project finance, and program planning. • Experience developing programmatic content for proposals and external customer presentations. • Experience authoring and decomposing financial and contractual volumes. • Strong understanding of the launch, space, and lunar environments. • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills and able to self-start with minimal guidance. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements. • Excellent oral and written communication skills, experienced working with a wide variety of engineers with different skill levels and backgrounds. • Ability to adapt quickly, think creatively, make critical technical decisions, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. • U.S. Person status required: US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3); applicants must be eligible to obtain required export authorizations.
