• Develop program budgets and schedules for new concepts and designs of lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft • Support proposal content creation for mission opportunities and internal development programs • Contribute to schedules, resourcing, risks, and budget estimations • Communicate with engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors to resolve technical risks and challenges • Build bottom-up estimates, including bills of materials, cash flow models, and labor estimates • Participate occasionally in customer, supply-chain, and partner visits and technical interchange meetings • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align project schedules and budgets with mission and business needs and the company technology roadmap • Manage early technology development projects and paid architecture studies, including budgets, schedules, deliverables, and customer interfacing
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline plus 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience • Relevant advanced degree may be considered in lieu of equivalent experience • Demonstrated experience in project or program management, project finance, and program planning • Experience developing programmatic content for proposals and external customer presentations • Experience authoring and decomposing financial and contractual volumes • Strong understanding of launch, space, and lunar environments • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills • Ability to self-start with minimal guidance • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Experience working with engineers with varied skill levels and backgrounds • Ability to adapt quickly, think creatively, make critical technical decisions, and take initiative • U.S. Person status required: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) • Must be eligible to obtain required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or Department of Commerce
