📋 Description

• Perform workload and team management, including QA/QC, fee proposals, and task management • Reconcile invoices and change orders with general contractors, subcontractors, and third parties • Perform value analysis • Develop and nurture client relationships to ensure client satisfaction • Support senior management by providing reports and responding to information inquiries • Mentor estimating technicians and estimators, and train them in construction divisions and technology • Prepare project plans • Provide bid analysis and post-contract support • Participate in peer reviews • Undertake risk and value management evaluations • Understand project controls and stakeholder requirements • Participate in industry events and demonstrate understanding of the local market • Support conceptual estimating, budget development, cost planning, feasibility studies, value management, economic forecasting, milestone reporting, audits, change-order review, BIM 5D cost modeling, LEED cost analysis, and life-cycle costing

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Electrical Cost & Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying with professional accreditation • Proficient in construction cost estimating and pricing across various construction phases • Strong research skills and ability to allocate relevant data • Technical knowledge of the construction industry and cost-estimating methods • Proficient in measurement with understanding of trades, procurement strategies, and delivery methods • Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, structural, MEP, geotechnical, site logistics, and schedule documents • Ability to understand contracts, specifications, and construction schedules • Current, up-to-date technology and software knowledge • Proficient in Excel • Ability to adapt to varied hours, including possible weekends or evenings • Ability to analyze, compare, and interpret detailed or poorly defined information • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Ability to read electrical drawings • Preferred: BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field • Preferred certification: Professional accreditation such as MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE, or equivalent
