📋 Description

• Complete preventative maintenance and basic repairs on generators or components at customer sites • Complete repair activities on generators or components • Engage with customers courteously and professionally • Perform maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools • Maintain detailed service records • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies • Undergo ongoing development and certifications on Cummins products • Maintain own tools • Provide assistance with basic repairs and preventative maintenance on power generation systems, parts, and components • Work under direct or close supervision with review of workmanship quality • Primarily perform preventative maintenance or basic repairs and diagnostics on generators • Participate in the territory on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• Current valid license required • 5-year motor vehicle report free from major violations • Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical • 3 years of driving experience • Subject to DOT driving regulations, including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use • Must be 21 years of age or older • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution • Current relevant electrical certification • Locally valid driving permit • Basic knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products • High Voltage / Low Voltage experience • Minimal workshop-related experience • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision • Hands-on exposure to working on power generation products • Basic Diesel Engine experience • Participation in the on-call rotation for the territory
