• Lead the direction and oversight of the regional sales strategy • Ensure alignment with marketplace growth and sales goals • Oversee the full suite of sales and enablement technology tools and services • Maintain and report on the territory plan • Inform potential and existing customers about product features and benefits • Establish relationships with key stakeholders, clients, decision-makers, and thought leaders • Lead the sales team in support of the IST strategy and service delivery plan • Develop and execute sales territory plans with Implementation Service Team members • Formulate new business opportunities, conceptualize solutions, initiate proposals, and implement plans • Develop relationships with top school districts and determine their formative assessment and solution needs • Deliver sales presentations virtually or in person • Plan and execute regional events and conference attendance or sponsorships • Collaborate with sales, service, account management, and product development teams • Ensure financial planning, accounting, and financial processes are completed accurately and on time • Manage financial performance objectives for assigned accounts and territories • Provide leadership in addressing escalated account or program issues • Uphold Curriculum Associates’ values in every interaction and communication
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field • 5+ years’ equivalent experience in education or educational sales • 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role with quantitative and qualitative performance metrics • Experience in a SaaS-based sales environment • Proficient with Outlook, SalesForce.com, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS365), CRM, marketing automation tools, and search engines • Strong listening and communication skills, oral and written • Strong interpersonal and customer-centric skills • Ability to learn and incorporate new and complex concepts quickly • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • High attention to detail and ability to follow complicated directions • Effective decision-making, ownership, and accountability • Ability to handle ambiguity, stressful situations, and pressing deadlines • Integrity, ethical standards, and professional demeanor • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capability • Must be able to lift 50 lbs • Travel up to 80% is required • A Master’s Degree in Education, Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field is preferred • Previous experience in assessment and curriculum adoption is preferred • Established relationships with district leaders within the assigned territory is preferred
