📋 Description

• Perform full cycle accounting, including analysis of accounts and accounting transactions • Prepare and assist with cash management, AP, AR, accruals, and reconciliations for multiple clients • Prioritize and organize a high-volume workload while meeting productivity standards • Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages in accordance with internal controls and client requirements • Apply procedures for preparing accounting records, researching transactions, and reporting • Prepare and review fixed asset ledgers to ensure proper capitalization and depreciation • Calculate and record straight-line rent based on client preferences • Apply company financial policies and procedures and escalate inconsistencies and problems to management • Research, analyze, communicate, and appropriately escalate basic accounting issues • Communicate and collaborate with clients and property management • Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information • Perform other related duties as required or requested

🎯 Requirements

• College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred • Requires some experience, but less than one year or equivalent combination of education and experience • Prior experience with accounting or database software packages preferred • Basic knowledge of commercial real estate preferred • Proficient in MS Office • Ability to perform full cycle accounting, including cash management, AP, AR, accruals, and reconciliations • Ability to prepare accurate financial reporting packages • Knowledge of accounting records, transaction research, and reporting procedures • Ability to prepare and review fixed asset ledgers and calculate straight-line rent • Ability to comply with internal and external audit requests • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, attention-to-detail, client-focus, financial-management, and time-management competencies
