📋 Description

• Lead a squad to deliver customer value by owning projects end to end from planning through delivery, quality, and follow-through • Set milestones and drive execution through ambiguity and competing priorities • Ship in small, observable increments • Make confident decisions and lead the team through them • Set an effective operating rhythm for the team • Ensure solutions are scalable, architecturally sound, flexible, and secure • Maintain strong peer-review, QA, documentation, deployment, logging, and monitoring practices • Participate in design reviews, architecture calls, and incidents • Coach direct reports and create development opportunities • Hire, onboard, and manage performance • Use AI tools to accelerate team velocity and prototyping • Partner across engineering and other departments to align efforts with customer success

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years managing engineers at a SaaS company, B2B or B2C, ideally early-to-mid-stage • Track record of driving execution with concrete delivery outcomes, milestones, dates, and ownership • Strong technical background with ability to participate in architecture conversations and design reviews • Recent experience shipping real work • Comfort operating with high autonomy and little prescribed structure • Ability to create clarity and make difficult tradeoffs between competing priorities • Demonstrated AI-native leadership and ability to bring AI-first practices into team development • Experience building high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative teams • Clear, concise, and direct verbal and written communication • Successful completion of background check and employment verifications
