📋 Description

• Maintain the litigation matter intake process, including opening and closing matters in the Legal Tracker billing system, workflow coordination, and assignment distribution • Independently manage third-party subpoenas and records requests from state/government agencies and other requestors • Provide comprehensive support to in-house attorneys on No Surprise Bill Act matters and other administrative proceedings • Coordinate discovery by issuing legal holds, managing document and data collections, tracking deadlines and deliverables, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external counsel • Coordinate limited travel arrangements, process expense reimbursements, and prepare and manage check requests for settlements and reimbursements • Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports • Lead or contribute to special legal projects and initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing and small claims litigation • 2+ years of research experience • Analytical ability and good judgment • Strong organizational skills in managing litigation matters • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity • Knowledge of health care benefits • Knowledge of state and federal court systems • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
