📋 Description

• Establish and lead the enterprise strategy and framework for analytical validation across the underwriting ecosystem • Validate business outcomes and financial impacts resulting from data, logic, configuration, and application changes • Lead P&L validation, forecasting validation, and financial impact assessments • Partner with business and finance stakeholders to investigate unexpected variances and performance shifts • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers • Conduct root cause analysis, variance analysis, and business impact assessments • Analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data from interviews, questionnaires, observations, and stakeholder feedback • Develop self-service reporting solutions and reporting frameworks • Develop KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and monitoring and validation controls • Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business and executive leaders • Establish standards and best practices for analytical quality assurance • Lead anomaly detection efforts for data quality issues, calculation discrepancies, forecasting deviations, and unexpected business outcomes • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10+ decision scientists, analysts, and validation professionals • Define team vision, strategy, goals, priorities, and OKRs • Manage resource planning, workload prioritization, and organizational growth • Provide executive-level communication, reporting, and strategic recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in analytics, decision science, business intelligence, financial analysis, quality assurance, or data validation • 5+ years of experience leading large analytical teams and developing people leaders • Expertise in analytical validation, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, business impact assessment, and financial validation • Strong ability to analyze and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights and explain business outcomes • Experience developing self-service reporting solutions and communicating insights from reports and dashboards • Proven experience validating business outcomes and financial results using large-scale datasets • Advanced SQL and data analysis skills • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills • Preferred: PBM, Healthcare, Underwriting, Pricing, Forecasting, Actuarial, or Financial Analytics experience • Preferred: Experience validating underwriting, forecasting, pricing, or P&L platforms • Preferred: Experience with Databricks, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar analytics platforms • Preferred: Advanced degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline
