📋 Description

• Apply complex financial, contractual, and business strategies to large, high-impact PBM client agreements • Develop and maintain contracts reflecting evolving industry strategies in healthcare • Support health plan client retention and influence operational execution of negotiated intent • Mitigate financial and relationship risks • Facilitate strategic discussions with health plan clients and consultants • Negotiate contracts memorializing agreed terms and conditions • Build and lead a specialized contract management team • Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, approval, execution, and renewal • Ensure contract documentation, execution, and handoff across internal stakeholders • Establish contract governance processes, documentation standards, and approval workflows • Track contract status, performance, and closure metrics • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and performance guarantees • Lead contract strategies across clients, vendors, and providers • Negotiate financial arrangements, performance guarantees, service level agreements, and the RTN process • Partner with Sales, Underwriting, Legal, Finance, Proposals, and Consultant Relations • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling tied to contract outcomes • Maintain regulatory knowledge and ensure legal, regulatory, and internal compliance • Identify and resolve process gaps across contracting, finance, and operational workflows • Serve as escalation point for complex contract issues and negotiations

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with contract/financial negotiation and PBM knowledge • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required • Up to 10% travel may be required • Master's degree preferred • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to adapt and prioritize while managing multiple projects and challenging timelines • Assertive self-starter able to make decisions independently • Strategic thinking and strong financial acumen • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate across all levels • Experience building strong cross-functional relationships, internal and external • Ability to influence and negotiate internal and external cross-functional business issues
