📋 Description

• Lead the data governance strategy for our data warehouse and analytics environment • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data governance platform • Establish the cataloging, lineage, data quality standards, and policy enforcement capabilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, software engineering teams, business intelligence, and various business stakeholders • Translate governance needs into robust, scalable, and user-friendly platform capabilities that drive adoption, unlock trusted insights, and strengthen organizational confidence in our data

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years professional experience including 4 or more years specifically in product based roles, with a significant focus on data products or platforms (governance, catalog, quality, or analytics platforms preferred) • Proven experience defining and executing a data governance strategy, from current-state assessment through capability roadmap and rollout • Strong understanding of data governance concepts and practices, including data quality standards, metadata management, lineage, stewardship, and policy enforcement • Experience with data governance and analytics platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica Axon, Databricks Unity Catalog, or similar) is required • Proficiency in SQL, plus fluency reading data models, metadata, and lineage representations • Demonstrated ability to drive platform adoption across data producers, stewards, and consumers, including the change management required to land new governance tooling • Demonstrated ability to define and track success metrics for governance work (adoption, coverage, data quality), and to use that data to prioritize investment and report on impact • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
