📋 Description

• Write assignments varying in length and detail supporting strategic, functional, and operational topics across proposals • Collaborate with Capture and Proposal Managers, Proposal Directors, and Subject Matter Experts to prepare final proposal responses • Analyze proposal sections and content to ensure alignment and a cohesive narrative • Interview subject matter experts to collect information for compliant responses, update resumes, write past performances, and develop proposal responses • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and analyze data to formulate client-focused content • Collaborate with Graphic Designers on proposal graphics and visual storytelling • Participate in proposal meetings, color team reviews, and status meetings throughout the proposal process • Develop compliant and compelling proposal responses aligned with quality standards and bid guidance • Develop creative strategies articulating customer needs and win themes • Maintain expert understanding of Aetna Medicaid products and services • Support the Medicaid Content Library content management lifecycle • Participate in team meetings and share ideas to drive innovation and creativity • Build relationships with health plan leaders, proposal peers, and SMEs to support winning and retaining business • Support and drive development of internal processes and procedures, including scorecards, quality business reports, style guides, and performance measures

🎯 Requirements

• Five plus years of experience as a proposal writer (or equivalent experience) • 3 years of experience with Medicaid proposals • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint • Exceptional organizational, project management, analytical, and innovative problem-solving skills • Ability to travel up to 15% • Experience collaborating across departments and organizational levels • Understanding of Associated Press and internal style guides • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Writing, English, Communications, Healthcare Policy, or equivalent work experience
