📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain key components of our data platform automation for provisioning, backups, and user management • Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and reliability issues in our data systems, often serving as an escalation point for the team • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data streaming services, security, scalability, and automation • Participate in an on-call rotation to support the team's critical services • Mentor junior engineers on the team, providing guidance on database administration, query optimization, and DBRE principles • Contribute to the technical roadmap by researching new data technologies and proposing innovative solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of applicable experience • Strong experience with messaging platforms (Kafka/Redis) • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python) • Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure or AWS preferred)
