📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain data platform automation for provisioning, backups, and user management • Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and reliability issues in data systems • Serve as an escalation point for complex data-system issues • Identify opportunities to improve data streaming services, security, scalability, and automation • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical services • Mentor junior engineers on database administration, query optimization, and DBRE principles • Research new data technologies and propose innovative solutions for the technical roadmap • Collaborate with engineering and customer teams to enable high-performance, data-intensive applications

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of applicable experience • Strong experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka and Redis • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Bash or Python • Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS, and its managed offerings • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Experience helping teams design scalable data models • Proven ability to deliver complex technical projects • Experience with GitHub Actions or similar pipeline technologies • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
