📋 Description

• Lead product strategy and execution for the Epic electronic health record platform and related clinical informatics tools • Own the lifecycle of Epic-integrated solutions from ideation through delivery • Define product vision and strategy for the Epic domain, focused on admission prevention and care coordination • Conduct user research with clinical and business stakeholders • Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to translate needs into product requirements • Design workflows and user experiences • Act as product owner for Epic and informatics solutions • Manage Epic-based tools and workflows through prototyping, build, testing, and go-live • Evaluate vendor buy-versus-build options • Create features, stories, and workflow designs based on clinical insights, stakeholder research, and customer experience needs • Translate strategic informatics goals into product requirements and project plans with milestones, deliverables, and dependencies • Build product vision and strategy tied to organizational objectives and OKRs • Coordinate with engineering, data science, integration, and architecture teams in an agile process • Develop and maintain risk and issue logs and mitigation plans • Ensure alignment across clinical, technical, and operational groups • Lead cross-functional meetings with agendas, follow-ups, and accountability • Deliver executive-level reporting on product status, risks, and decisions • Develop testing procedures and governance for Epic assessments • Partner with training and change management teams to support readiness, adoption, and feedback • Support approval of product iterations, schedules, releases, and roadmaps • Support recruiting, hiring, and developing product and informatics talent

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant work experience, including product management and healthcare informatics or health IT product/project management • Deep Epic expertise, including hands-on experience managing, configuring, or overseeing Epic software, modules, and tools within a healthcare enterprise • Ability to deliver complex healthcare technology projects on time and within scope • Proven ability to drive strategic decisions, take ownership, and coordinate resources • Ability to work with senior-level stakeholders and translate complex technical topics for varied audiences in a matrixed environment • Data-driven approach to measuring product impact and evaluating success with analytics teams • Problem-solving and decision-making skills • Collaboration and teamwork skills • Growth mindset, agility, and ability to develop yourself and others • Execution and delivery skills, including planning, delivering, and supporting • Business intelligence and ability to translate data into actionable insight • Change management and ability to drive user adoption of clinical technology • Epic certification(s) in one or more relevant modules preferred • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Rally, Lucid, MS Visio or similar tools preferred • Experience in Value Based Care and Medicare/Medicare Advantage preferred • Operational or technical experience in care coordination, care continuum, or admission prevention preferred • Comfort operating in a regulated environment with data privacy and compliance considerations preferred • Strong executive presence and experience presenting to and building relationships with senior stakeholders across a large enterprise preferred
