📋 Description

• Deliver holistic, evidence-based virtual care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health-problem management, counseling, and disposition planning • Provide education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, safer sex practices, contraceptive care, and medication management • Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients aged 18 months and above • Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient-care inquiries • Document all patient care in an EHR according to MinuteClinic policies and procedures • Coordinate patient care with internal and external colleagues, including the broader patient-centered medical home • Work effectively with Providers, Collaborative Physicians, paraprofessionals, Pharmacists, and other healthcare-team members • Work independently, prioritize and solve problems, take initiative, and advocate for patients and the practice

🎯 Requirements

• Current, unrestricted license in Tennessee • Live within three hours of the Tennessee border • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent • Completion of a Master’s Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program • Current National Board Certification • State of employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role • Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask • Initiative, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility • Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously • Proficiency with information management and technology • Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues to provide quality care • Minimum availability of 9 hours per week, including every third weekend • Availability for evening and overnight shifts • Broadband connectivity and a quiet setting with a neutral background for virtual visits • Ability to uphold patient privacy per CVS Health guidelines • Ability to operate computers and phones, speak intelligibly, hear patient responses, and read computer screens and electronic devices • Depending on the market, proficiency in speaking and writing additional languages, including Spanish, may be required • Willingness and ability to obtain additional licensure if hired
