📋 Description

• Provide guidance and coaching to franchisees and Operations team to achieve company and operational goals • Advise franchisee owners/operators to improve sales, profits, operating standards, operating systems, and customer satisfaction • Ensure compliance with IDQ policies and system standards • Maintain support of DMA chairpeople and key franchisee leadership • Engage functional experts and support other functions as needed • Implement and execute the Worldwide Operations Business Plan for the assigned district • Develop and implement district-wide integrated marketing, operations, training, development, and supply chain plans • Establish and implement business plans with franchise owners where appropriate • Provide counsel and assistance to ensure plans support ADQ’s Operations and Marketing Plan • Advise and guide marketing performance through partnerships with departments, vendors, and franchisees • Help franchisees achieve goals for shift management, food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, repair and maintenance, and atmosphere • Provide advice to support franchisees’ financial health • Partner with ADQ staff on development, reinvestment, and renewal strategies for new and existing franchisees • Support other departments and functions as needed • Assist with new store openings as required • Complete ad hoc projects as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management, or a related field, or equivalent restaurant operations experience • 4 or more years of restaurant management (multi-unit/high volume preferred) and/or franchise operations management, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Clean driving record • Thorough knowledge and familiarity with the restaurant industry; QSR preferred • Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations • Proficient knowledge of marketing, finance, training, human resources, and development • Strong communication skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects and requests • Relationship-building skills • Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions • Availability to work occasional evening and weekend hours as needed • ServSafe certification • Ability to communicate frequently by telephone and email, 4+ hours per day • Ability to travel overnight for franchisee and staff meetings/visits, averaging two weeks per month • Ability to drive an automobile for franchisee and staff meetings/visits • Must be insurable by the company insurance provider • Ability to travel by airplane as necessary • Ability to stand on concrete or tiled floors for up to 8 hours per day when visiting a franchisee location • No food or beverage allergies that would prevent tasting products or working in and around a Dairy Queen restaurant environment • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
