📋 Description

• Partner collaboratively with clients to develop data science solutions and analyze AI-ready multimodal datasets • Curate datasets by identifying patient subpopulations or disease cohorts and pooling multimodal data • Lead analytics research from inception to closeout, owning study design, data curation strategies, effort estimation, analytic design, and final delivery • Develop statistical analysis plans for evidence-generation projects • Query complex healthcare source systems, including EMRs, ECG data, and DICOM data • Develop descriptive analyses and predictive and causal inference models • Summarize methods and results for internal and external audiences, conferences, and peer-reviewed publications • Support SQL and analytical programming, data management, quality control, and reporting • Develop code and documentation for high-quality, HIPAA-compliant data products • Present findings and recommendations to varied technical and clinical audiences and senior leadership • Identify and resolve data and analytical problems • Ensure accuracy, data integrity, and validity of data and analysis • Report to the Research Data Science Manager • Occasional travel for in-person company working days approximately quarterly

🎯 Requirements

• M.S. or PhD degree in a relevant field, such as Biomedical Informatics, Data Science, or Biostatistics, or B.S. with at least seven years of experience • Experience in client interaction, crafting project proposals, and leading teams • Background in statistical modeling and real-world data analysis • Fluency in Python and SQL • 1+ years experience extracting, curating, and analyzing data created within the HIT and healthcare delivery ecosystem • Knowledge of data exchange and content standards such as FHIR, CDA, and CQL is applicable • Knowledge of clinical terminology standards such as ICD, CPT, LOINC, SNOMED-CT, NDC, and RxNorm is applicable • Strong technical writing, editing, and communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines • SQL • Python and/or R • Git and version control • Familiarity with encryption methods and regular expressions • Experience querying EDWs or databases and creating healthcare data reports or analytics • Familiarity with electronic medical record data, such as Epic, Cerner, and Allscripts • Prior experience working with insurance claims data • Familiarity with medical terminologies or controlled vocabularies • Medical ontology experience • NLP experience • Experience with DICOM or other imaging modalities • Experience with OMOP common data model • Familiarity with machine learning concepts • Experience with AWS • Must be currently based in the US and authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis • Sponsorship may be required now or in the future; application asks candidates to disclose this
