• Conduct comprehensive reviews of dental and medical records • Provide objective, evidence-based advisory opinions • Review medical and dental records • Evaluate clinical documentation and treatment plans • Prepare clear and concise clinical summaries • Respond to specific client questions related to oral and maxillofacial surgery and dental care • Perform advisory medical record reviews only; no peer-to-peer discussions, telephone calls, direct patient care, or treatment • Apply specialized oral and maxillofacial surgical and clinical expertise to support high-quality, accurate, consistent, and defensible healthcare assessments
• DMD, DDS, or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited dental program • Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program • Board Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery • Current, unrestricted Nevada dental license • Must currently reside in Reno, Nevada • Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery • Ability to attend all required orientation and training sessions • Maintains appropriate credentialing, state licensure, and certifications required to perform the role • Strong clinical judgment and ability to communicate findings clearly, objectively, and concisely in written form • Comfortable reviewing complex medical and dental records and applying evidence-based clinical standards
