📋 Description

• Conduct day-to-day transaction monitoring and investigations across Strike's AML program, from alert review through to suspicious activity reporting • Investigate and disposition transaction monitoring alerts across internal AML and blockchain rules, including potential fraud, structuring, and unusual activity • Document investigative conclusions in a defensible audit trail • Use blockchain analytics tooling to review on-chain counterparty exposure and trace flagged activity • Compile evidence, transaction records, and case summaries supporting suspicious activity determinations and SAR narrative drafting • Use AI tooling to complete casework faster and more thoroughly and provide feedback on its use in investigations • Support the wider compliance program, including external requests, onboarding and screening queues, complaints, and remediation work • Detect and escalate anomalies or suspicious behaviors in line with AML and fraud policies • Take ownership, drive change, and inform critical business decisions across Strike's business areas

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years in AML, financial crime, or fraud investigations • Minimum of 1 year dedicated to blockchain or digital asset investigations • Working ability to follow bitcoin transactions across hops and interpret on-chain counterparty exposure • Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail • Ability to analyze public records, transaction data, and KYC data • Excellent written communication and narrative skills • Working knowledge of BSA/AML obligations, OFAC sanctions basics, and common money laundering red flags and typologies • Working proficiency with blockchain analytics tooling such as Chainalysis and TRM Labs • Proficiency with open source research, KYC/case management tools, and platforms such as Zendesk • Willingness to learn and adopt AI tooling; prior experience is not required • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a diverse customer base • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced setting • Ability to take ownership and work with a high degree of urgency • English fluency is required; additional languages are a valuable asset • Knowledge of LN
