📋 Description

• Create functioning BIM/REVIT models of new design projects within existing facilities • Create and revise MEP Revit models or CAD files for MEP design projects within existing facilities • Perform on-site CAD verification and site walks • Consolidate existing as-built documentation and create working Revit models • Ensure all files conform with client Revit/CAD standards, including title blocks, CTB plotting styles, layers, line types, symbols, scaling, annotations, text formatting, and naming standards • Support project closeout as-builts • Coordinate with architectural, structural, and fire protection subconsultants • Perform or support piping, ductwork, or electrical sizing

🎯 Requirements

• Associate of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, or equivalent certification, or a 2-year Associate/Drafter certification • 5 years of CAD experience • Minimum 1 year of BIM/Revit experience • Proven experience working in and updating Revit/BIM files containing up to several hundred files and cross-references • Experience performing piping, ductwork, or electrical sizing • Experience coordinating with architectural, structural, and fire protection subconsultants • Ability to use various software programs to update and produce work products by computer • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Ability to clear background security investigations for contractors in accordance with VA Directive and Handbook 0710 • Ability to utilize software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products through computer literacy • Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills • Work status eligibility and passing a federal government background check required
