📋 Description

• Lead and manage healthcare-focused data science projects from conceptualization through deployment • Develop and implement machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, and generative AI models • Build, test, and deploy data science solutions using Python • Use the GCP software stack to manage and analyze large healthcare datasets • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clinical experts, clinicians, and healthcare professionals • Mentor and guide junior data scientists • Stay current with advances in data science, machine learning, generative AI, and healthcare analytics • Present findings and recommendations to healthcare professionals and senior leadership • Ensure data science and AI best practices are followed across the team

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field • 4–8 years of experience in data science or a related field, focused on healthcare applications • Experience within a healthcare setting preferred • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI, BigQuery, AI Platform, and Dataflow • Strong understanding of healthcare data sources, healthcare informatics, and clinical data standards • Proven track record of leading successful healthcare data science projects • Experience with electronic health records data and healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR, preferred • Experience with Docker and containerization tools preferred • Experience with AWS and Azure preferred • Familiarity with R and SQL preferred • Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities
