📋 Description

• Process and post New and Used vehicle sales (Average of 250 deals per month). • Record and monitor revenue and cost of sales as related to vehicle sales • Calculate commissions owed and submits to payroll • Maintain and reconcile accounting schedules relating to vehicle sales including but not limited to receivables, payable and inventory schedules • Works with Sales Department to obtain required documents • Communicate with upper management, various sales team members, and department managers

🎯 Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED. • 2+ years of experience working for a dealership accounting or admin department • Understand the process and flow of a deal • Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) • Understanding of balance forward and aging schedules • Experience with Dealer Management Systems; Proficient in all Microsoft suite- must know how to leverage Excel for accounting • Able to work independently while also being a collaborative, team player with a result driven approach in a fast-paced environment • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, programs and methodologies, and Dealer licenses • Curiosity, creativity and effective research skills • Self-driven, analytical thinker with effective organizational and planning skills • Must maintain high level of discretion and confidentiality
